Staying active with chronic pain is hard! How do you get your daily activities done with limited energy and pain tolerance? This workshop reviews the common activity patterns of people with chronic pain, teaches what pacing is and how it can help with managing your activities when you live with chronic pain. We will then review skills for how to pace your activities and manage the barriers that may get in the way.

Speaker: Sara DePottie is a registered Occupational Therapist with 7+ years’ experience working with patients with chronic pain, anxiety and depression. She completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Manitoba in 2018. Sara created the Occupational Therapy role at the Operational Stress Injury Clinic in Winnipeg, working with patients with chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. She currently works at the Health Science Centre Pain Clinic.
